Sustainability
At DALO, we have worked with sustainability in our procurement since 2012, and we have continuously strengthened our efforts.
At the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO), we focus our sustainability work on our core task: ensuring that the Danish Defence acquires materiel with the right speed, at the right price and quality, produced and serviced with respect for people, climate and the environment.
On the following pages, you can read about our sustainability work in connection with procurement, and the requirements DALO places on you as a supplier. The pages are aimed at both existing suppliers and companies considering a partnership with us who would like an insight into what this involves.
Our sustainability work is divided into two focus areas – Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and climate/environment – with a number of common elements between the two areas. Among other things, you can read about our sustainability policy and our Sustainability Governance Board. We also describe how we work more specifically with CSR and climate/environment respectively, and which requirements we set.
